Licensing is provided on a per-user basis.  This means that you have to purchase a license for each individual user of Aqua Data Studio in your organization.  However, a single user may install the software on as many as two computers simultaneously.

Floating or concurrent licenses are not available, and once a license is issued it may not be transferred to another user or registered to another username.  A person or a company registered as a license user is assumed to be the owner of the license.

Commercial pricing for Aqua Data Studio with a One Year Subscription

Subscription

Subscriptions provide customers support, maintenance and upgrades to Aqua Data Studio.  An initial purchase of Aqua Data Studio includes a one year subscription which may be renewed yearly at 35% of the then current new license price.  When a subscription expires, the licensed user retains a perpetual license to the last version upgrade received.  Subscriptions can be renewed any time before and during the year following the expiration date.  The new expiration date, regardless of when the license is renewed, will be one year from the previous expiration date.

Free Evaluation

You may download and evaluate a fully functional version of Aqua Data Studio for 14 days without requirement of licensing. Full support is extended to evaluators during this period. 

The purpose of the evaluation period is to give users the ability to fully understand the functionality of Aqua Data Studio and determine its usability.  We recommend that an initial 3-4 hour time period be allocated to install, configure and walk through the documentation of the software to fully evaluate each and every feature.  As you evaluate the software, you should write down any questions and comments you may have, and then email them to us for support.

This process of evaluating and questioning may be repeated until you are comfortable with the quality and functionality of the product, at which time you may decide on its relevance in your environment.  This method of evaluation prevents users from "casually" using the software over long periods of time and never fully understanding its capabilities.  It also provides us with valuable feedback which helps us immediately improve the software for the benefit of all users.

The large number of new features and enhancements found in Aqua Data Studio exist thanks to discussions with the Aqua Data Studio community. This interaction has worked well for us, and development remains community driven.
